You’ve chosen an ETX module (maybe one of the more advanced XTX or COMExpress models), and so now you need to find a way of getting the outputs into a usable format. You have got 2 choices from this point :

Ask us to make a custom carrier board.

Strangely enough, most of our customers don't like the bulky evaluation boards - and so we are pleased to offer our specialist design skills to develop a custom carrier board for your etx module. This means that we can produce a smaller carrier board (normally to the same footprint as the ETX modules - 114mm by 95mm) that has outputs for only the functions you need to use on the ETX module. We can also build in functions that you may need to use in the future.

The theory behind using a carrier board and a plug-on etx module is that you can easliy upgrade your application by simply unplugging and plugging in a new ETX module with a faster processor, etc.

Our team of designers will work on your design, and then when you are happy - we outsource the production to a facility that we use in the far east to ensure delivery of the custom carrier boards for your project on time and to budget ... or
